The Youth Education Service are working in partnership with a Pupil Referral Unit in Fazakerley who support students who have been or who are at risk of being permanently excluded. We are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistants to work within their KS3 site. The school are seeking to appoint enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, resilient and resourceful individuals to support the students in their learning and join in with their dynamic school life. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will be working with small groups of secondary aged students, many who suffer with social, emotional and / or mental health issues (SEMH). You will work closely to support the class teacher to ensure the students are consistently working to positive outcomes.

You must have:
You will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children, particularly those with social, emotional and / or mental health issues.
A background in education is not a necessity but you may have experience working with children, ideally those with challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD, Asperger’s, mental health issues and / or social and emotional issues.
You will have knowledge of safeguarding young people and a willingness to undertake additional and on-going training and personal development.
You will be an excellent team player with a positive and resilient nature who likes to see and get the best out of young people.

We are recruiting for a Sports Coach to work within their KS3/KS4 site, supporting in the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons to inspire and motivate students with social, emotional, and/or mental health issues (SEMH).
The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, resilient, and resourceful individual who can use sport as a tool to develop students’ confidence, teamwork, and resilience while supporting their overall wellbeing. The school provide a short stay provision to pupils for 12 weeks before they then re-integrate back into mainstream education. The school are seeking to appoint a dedicated and hardworking Support Assistant and are able to offer Teacher training for those who are keen to pursue a career as a Teacher. They are located in Liverpool with good access to the city centre and local train stations.
